Marmoush has taken Europe by storm this season, scoring 14 goals and registering 10 assists in 16 games across all competitions. He leads the goal-scoring charts in the Bundesliga with Harry Kane, finding the back of the net 11 times. As if his clinical finishing wasn't enough, the Egyptian international is also emerging as a dead-ball specialist, becoming the first player from Europe's top five leagues since Lionel Messi in 2019 to score a direct free-kick in three consecutive competitive outings.

While Lewandowski is also still going strong for Barcelona at the age of 36, scoring 14 goals in 13 league games, it remains to be seen how long he can carry on before running out of steam. As such, the Catalans want to ensure there's a seamless transition in the No. 9 role by snapping up Marmoush.

Eintracht Frankfurt have slammed a hefty price tag on their star player, with reports revealing that the Bundesliga outfit would not sell Marmoush for a fee of less than around €60-70 million. Manchester City, in addition to Bayern and Liverpool, are also said to be eyeing Marmoush.
